The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has extended the

* small stream Flood Advisory for...
streams draining the north side of the Alaska Range west of the
Richardson Highway...

* until 130 am akdt Monday

* between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over the Alaska Range
from the Richardson Highway west since Friday. The heaviest
amounts have been in the western half of Denali park where 2 and
one half inches of rain fell at the eielson visitors center.
Another half inch to one inch of rain is possible through Sunday
afternoon when the the rain will taper off. Flooding of small
streams is possible through Sunday evening especially from
Denali Park West.

A large debris flow occurred this morning in Denali park just west
of the eielson visitors center closing the park Road. Mud and
rock slides are possible in steep terrain along the north side of
   the Alaska Range west of the Richardson Highway through Sunday
   evening.
