* Flood Advisory for...
northwestern San Bernardino County in Southern California...

* until 130 PM PST

* at 928 am PST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
minor flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Barstow, Fort Irwin, Daggett, Kelso, Baker, I-15 between
Victorville and Barstow, sr 127 near Dumont Dunes, Newberry
Springs, Trona, Ludlow, Hwy 247 between Lucerne Valley and
Barstow, Amboy, Dumont Dunes, Lenwood, Searles Valley and Nebo
center.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 7 am PST /8 am MST/ this
morning to 4 PM PST /5 PM MST/ Monday...

* timing... winds are expected to increase today... peak
tonight... then diminish Monday afternoon. Portions of the Las
Vegas Valley may not see strong winds until tonight.

* Winds... south to southwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts 35 to 45 mph.

* Impacts... strong winds will create difficult driving
conditions... especially for high-profile vehicles. Loose or
unsecured objects and temporary structures may be blown away
or damaged. Strong winds can also create hazardous boating
conditions due to high wave activity.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Check Road conditions before departing and be prepared for sudden
strong Crosswinds. Use extreme caution on the water and be aware
of wave activity. Secure any loose objects or temporary
structures.




Gale Warning
Issued: 5:33 AM PST Jan. 22, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Gale Warning remains in effect until 4 am PST Tuesday...

* winds... southerly winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts to 35
kt... becoming southwest tonight... west Monday morning... and
then northwest Monday night.

* Waves/seas... combined seas 12 to 16 feet... with rough seas
continuing through Monday night.

* Slight chance of thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening
with wind gusts to 50 kt possible... frequent lightning... and
heavy rain squalls.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
Harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.
