Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow, which is in effect from 2 am to 11 PM
MST Sunday.

* Locations: Browning, Logan Pass, and Marias Pass.

* Timing: periods of light snow are expected in the mountains
tonight through Sunday evening. However, a southward-moving cold
front is expected to generate a burst of heavy snow along the
mountains and adjacent plains between mid-morning and early
evening on Sunday.

* Accumulations: snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches. Highest
amounts expected in the mountains, including Marias Pass.

* Winds: north 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Visibilities: generally reduced to between 1 and 2 miles in
falling and some blowing snow, but brief reductions to 1/4 mile
in heavy snow possible.

* Impacts: falling snow along with some drifting and blowing snow
will make roads snow-covered and slick.
