The National Weather Service in Caribou has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for a wintry mix... which is in effect until 8 PM
EDT this evening.

* Locations... downeast coast.

* Hazard types... snow... sleet and freezing rain.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of up to 1 inch... along with
around a trace of ice.

* Ice accumulations... around a trace.

* Snow accumulations... up to 1 inch.

* Timing... early this morning through early this evening.

* Impacts... expect some travel difficulties. Snow, sleet and a
thin glaze of ice will produce slippery conditions.

* Winds... southeast 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

* Temperatures... in the lower 30s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
