It's the middle of May and everyone has been reporting really warm weather for several weeks. Hot weather, in some cases. It doesn't bode well for the summer temps.
It has been getting into the 80's here but it hasn't been unbearable, mainly because the humidity has been fairly low. I do see that it has risen from 29% a couple of weeks ago to around 62% this week.

It was definitely time to do some spring cleaning and get up a new thread!
Spring has sprung here in the Lowcountry, even if the temps are a bit cool. All the usual signs of spring are here: tulip trees, redbuds, azaleas, daffy-down-dillies have all started to bloom. (The wisteria and dogwoods won't be far behind them.) Dormant plants have started pushing green shoots through the dirt towards the sunshine. My fingernails have a rim of dirt under them. ...

Hurricane Season 2015 is over (YAY!) and cooler temps are coming up (oh, boy...).
