I am back from the desert! My youngest daughter and I returned a few days ago from our spin through the Sonoran Desert of southern Arizona. We had a wonderful trip! The New Year is well underway now! I made it through the holidays, got well, enjoyed two weeks with our daughter's family and grandson James (and the rest of our family too!) and lately I have been busy cleaning up and putting Christmas away for another year. The work people here have returned to their schedules and life is moving back to normal.
Winter is surely here now, and it has been more "wintry" than the last year or two were...

A lot of water has passed under the bridge since my last blog. Now the water has even turned to snow! We had our first snowfall of the season here at home last evening. We got about 3". I have been waiting for enough daylight to get a photo before it washes away. Already it is hovering right about freezing and there is a light drizzle of rain, or whatever, kind of mushing it down.
