Weather has been a lifelong passion for me; while my husband and 4 kids, all grown, and one of them now married, have patiently gone along with me!

A change of scenery over here, to welcome in Middle Summer, or July. The weeks are slipping along and here we are at the 4th of July. It is a cool, cloudy weekend. Some sunshine may pop out here and there, especially perhaps in the afternoons, but it doesn't look overly great. There is a chance of showers tomorrow. Highs in the lower 70's over the weekend, they say.

Time to shake things up here and shift gears to the present. Summer has arrived, life is moving outdoors more and more. I am sitting out on the deck as I write this. The school year was just beginning and we had a long list of administrative and some teaching to do there. After those tasks were completed, I stayed on ...

9:38 AM, sunny
Well, time has surely passed and slipped by like "walking down" an icy slope. You don't walk. So far all of 2016 has seemed very busy to me and I am now trying to keep working fast to catch up! So it never ends! A series of events seemed to just grab all of my time; some is still ongoing, but I will slip in here to keep plowing ahead.
I am back at this blog and want to try to quickly return to my trip in February t...
