Weather Underground Forecast for Sunday, July 20, 2008.

Low pressure over Scandinavia will continue to bring wet conditions to northern Europe on Sunday. Expect moderate to heavy rainfall over southern Norway, while scattered showers will cover the Netherlands, Germany, and Austria. Expect cool temperatures in these regions as the low brings in cooler air from the north.

High pressure approaches the British Isles on Sunday so expect clearer skies and a break in wet conditions as the system has moved to the east. Also, the region will see warmer temperatures as the high brings in warm air from the south.

To the south, the Mediterranean will see mostly clear skies and pleasant conditions on Sunday with highs in the 90s(F)/ 32(C). However, a cold front over northern Spain will trigger a few scattered clouds, with possible showers along the coast.

Meanwhile, a trough will kick up some showers over eastern Europe and western Russia on Sunday. Expect moderate rainfall and cooler temperatures to move from Poland towards Moscow throughout the day. Meanwhile, a storm over western Russia will move north on Sunday and bring heavy showers and thunderstorms to Finland.

Tropical Depression Three continues to organize off the coast of South Carolina. Wilmington, NC long range radar shows the steady development of solid spiral bands of thunderstorms on all sides of the center, and these bands have begun bringing heavy rains to the North Carolina coast.
