Cloudy with showers in the morning...then partly sunny in the afternoon. Patchy fog in the morning. Not as cool with highs in the lower 60s. Temperature falling into the mid 50s in the afternoon. Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent.

The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a Wind Advisory... which is in effect from 2 am to 9 am EST Thursday.
Strong low pressure will move out of the Ohio and Tennessee valleys tonight to upstate New York Thursday morning. As this low passes to the west of New England... southerly winds will increase to 25 to 35 mph after midnight. Some gusts may reach up to 50 mph. Heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms could also bring some stronger gusts late tonight. A cold front will cross the region early Thursday morning... with winds shifting to west and southwest.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds are forecast to be 31 to 39 mph or gusts will range between 46 and 57 mph. Winds this strong are capable of Downing small tree limbs and branches... possibly causing isolated power outages. Driving can also be difficult... especially for high profile vehicles.
