Nice blizzard!

Just watching the radar as this blizzard smacks Long Island and it's unusual to see this storm flow the wrong way across the Island, from East to West. Still haven't won Lotto, so still am nursing the Lacross WX station, and true to form, the aneometer froze at about 7 am this morning. Tweaks to equipment still causing errors, but better...

Was surprised to see a spider in the Aneometer (not the 3 scoops type, but rather an impeller within a short tunnel) again, and it had jammed the Ameometer again. It spins freely, but still reads about 5 kts low. It took a big hit early this summer from a black capped Heron, which looks very similar to a Kukaburra bird, both in shape and size.
