Storm track too far south this time of year?

By now we get more heat than what has happened so far and the longer range keeping it mostly away.Seems to me that the jet stream with the storm track has been riding across the USA instead of southern canada for this time of year.I wouldnt mind if this would continue and keep the big heat and humidity away from us here in the Northeast states.

3" of snow here before the change over last night.Big question now is sat night!For the first time in a long time it wont be a question of Precip type!just how much snow will we get.Computer models can drive you nuts so i try not to peek into them to often.Models now tending to more snow but still a ways to go for a final verdic.One thing that is more certain is a good long stretch of below norm temps are on the way.

Looking better and better for a white xmass in southern new england

A small storm system passing just south of Ct Xmass Eve may put down a few inches of snow giving us a white xmass.Sure cutting it close but ill take it.Bigger storm later next week may give is alot more snow.Woke up this mourning with a light dusting of sow and flurries expected during the day.Heres hoping winter will stick around for awhile.

Whats this chance of snow for Xmass day and night here in CT?

I have recently written off any chance of a white xmass here in CT but i now see some small hopes of this happening.One hope is that with the strong cold front and slow moving storm exiting!There may be a brief period of snow friday night or sat morn giving us maybe an inch or two.If that does happen the cold weather may be able to keep the ground white till xmass day.The other thing i saw was the NWS putting up a chance of snow for xmass day and night!dont really k...
