The Virginia Tech campus is located in Blacksburg, Virginia and has a large drillfield in the central of the campus. This large oval field runs Northeast to Southwest and is encircled by a one way street known as Drillfield Drive. The Drillfield's name stems from its use by the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets to conduct military drills.

Hello darlings on WU,
My feet are walking and traveling again. I am visiting with family OUT of Mississippi. Here's one of my photos taking on the second day of my trip.. Can you guess where I am?

So, I have not been updating as much as I like but family is number one on my plate. Together with four other members of my family, we are planning a trip. AND I shall take the OtherBug again with me.

Soooo... I get back home just in time to meet my younger daughter with the keys to my second set of wheels... an old SUV but has the bottom fixed with a coat of stuff for driving on winter roads with salt .... guys out there that understand the needs of the winter driving up north.. understand what I am talking about. Under the Redwood Trees

Update on me - I am under the Redwoods Trees again 20 years after the last time I was here before back in 1992. The trees are even more awesome but the camping grounds where we stayed, are not as nice. So mom and I are in a different place on a river called Klamath River RV Park.
