It has been a pretty nice string of days recently in regards to our weather. We have had some warm days, but it hasn't been the long string of very hot and humid days that were common during June and July. It has been a pleasant election day across the state in regards to the weather and that is bringing out voters in high numbers. Douglas County election officials say that the turnout has been "very good" for a non-presidential election year. High temperatures today have climbed into the low to mid 50s already. Look for temperatures to drop into the 15 to 20 below range for tonight! There is a wind chill advisory for the state until Tuesday morning.
