I drove by and recognized it as the same course I tried to play a couple years ago, and was unable to get on then, This time, I passed by on my own choice. Looked like as few groups were headed out. Too many for me. The courses I have been playing have been wide open...

So I am trying to get back on track.

I headed south, unexpectedly, from Colorado Springs to see my pal CASA in New Mexico. The reason I went south was weather, heavy rain. It was heavy enough to get me thinking about hydroplaning while doing 75 on I-25 south.

Day one was moving day. Supposed to see rain, but just clouds. Stayed in Booneville, Missouri.

Yesterday was perfect weather as I continued west on I-70. I drove a few hours, then stopped and played a little 9 hole golf course in Chapman, Kansas. Nice people working there, and the course was in good shape.

I played some golf. Twice I played the course my folks live on (DAVE, there are several courses in Prospect). The first time I had to live down losing to my 90 year old dad as well as my mom. As usual. I am used to it. The second time I played by myself.
