Low pressure system will deepen as it tracks north into the upper Midwest today and tonight. Most parts of the state will most likely see near a half inch or more of rain. Unfortunately we have to be on the warm side once again. Places that have seen snow will get some more, back in Minnesota and the Dakotas. There is a potential for places along the lakes to see a inch or two of snow once the cold air mass moves through. Severe threat lies in the South where Missis...

One will move through tonight bringing the possibility of a few rumbles of thunder and heavy rain. Warm front was really pronounced today as I was walking to classes, also caught a shower with one or two rumbles of thunder. Temperature was slowly warming though the day and would expect it to stop around the mid 60s before the cold front plows through.
Last entry I mentioned two possible 'culprits' as storms go, but really fizzled out later. The 17th-19th storm turned out to be a few flurries, which I saw floating about today, (yay snow!) and the Weekend storm looks to be wet. I could just say it was moved back a few days, which almost looks likely?!?!Been looking for the storied CPC Winter Outlook, but apparently I am blind. Will keep looking about for it.Still looking at the models hopeful for a early snowstorm ...

I've had this blog on Wordpress for a few years now, and feel like I can really take it to some high places like the wunderful community of Weat...
