Here’s a good one for you. Shows just how odd temperatures can get in Pueblo in the winter. Right now, at the airport (KPUB), the temperature is a -8 degrees. A distance of a little more than eight miles. Right now, at my weather station, it’s 23.5 degrees. Looks like West of the interstate is the place to be! Even downtown Canon City is a balmy 23 degrees!

According to the “measuring stick” I pounded into the ground, yesterday afternoon, we got five inches. Must be close. That’s what they had at the airport (KPUB) eight miles away. Not a big fan of snow...

First time to add an entry. Been here and I haven’t done anything with it. Had to replace my station in November. Now getting more accurate readings.Trying to check all the events that are supposed to lead up to our “big snow event” tonight. Right now it looks like we may not get it. Not seeing the moisture or the cold temperatures that would lead to snow. Just a little bit of rain in the area. Colorado Springs is another matter. They are getting a mixture of...
