Hello everyone. Can't believe I've been able to keep an updated blog every week. The updates! The excitement! (yawn...)Besides, the previous blog was gnome-ized. Eeek!Let's see. I've got broccoli. Did I mention I have broccoli? Well, plenty of broccoli PLANTS. Pulling the tiny leaves apart near the stem, I find no trace of edible broccoli. So maybe there'll be broccoli for Easter. Christmas dinner is probably out of the question. Here you can see the broomcorn, and a...

Hello everyone and welcome to another blog. A long couple of weeks behind us, and I don't think anyone will be sorry to see Season™ come to an end. With an ElNino winter ahead of us, we have a different weather season to prepare for...but those thoughts and ideas are for greater minds than my own.The morning when Ida was far to my west, I was able to grab the one sunrise this summer, worth photographing. Of course the pic does not do it justice. These colors laste...

If just one pie, or one batch of spiced nuts were enough, it might be cost-effective. But since I usually go through two to four gallon-sized bags of them, it's simply che...
