	<description><![CDATA[The Columbia Gorge has been affected by an inversion.  Communities along the river will be hovering at freezing in a heavy cloud cover  and Mt. Hood will be sunny and  50 degrees.  <br />As you can see, here at 1800' we are out of the cloud layer. 	<description><![CDATA[The year has started off with the gray inversion. 	<description><![CDATA[As we near the end of a mild December it has turned a bit colder.  High today of 27.7 degrees.  <br />We have 12 to 18 inches of snow on the ground. 	<title><![CDATA[ 4 degree temperature variation in 66 hours]]></title>

	<description><![CDATA[We have been stuck in an inversion. <br /> If I am reading my stats correctly we have had a 4 degree difference in temperature in the last 2 and 1/2 days.
