The Keweenaw and the entire UP were the victims of a April Fools Day snow storm. While the Keweenaw experienced a snow and blowing snow advisory with just a few inches of snow, Marquette County got pounded with over a foot of snow which fell under blizzard conditions.This storm led to schools being closed across the region including NMU.
