The ducks and geese around the local courses are definitely not lame. Their droppings are spread far and wide. A cloudy day at the beach with a temperature at 10:40 a.m. of 48F (9C). The old lumberjack says that he is getting heavier as he gets older because there is a lot more information in his head. He says that's his story and he's sticking to it.

The weatherman has predicted some heavy weather for this area today--Lots of rain and high winds with flooding expected in the northern part of the state. The temperature at the beach at 11:30 a.m. is 58F (14.5C). No golfing today, but Herself has organized a shopping expedition--lots of money to be saved today I'm sure.

Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper died in a plane crash in 1959. I clearly remember the day it was reported. A good day on the golf course at our weekly Snowbird Tournament (I made by $1.00 entry fee back). Lots of sun and seasonable temperature. The temperature at the beach is 52F (11C).
