I'm not sure if what Herself is cooking is "bold", but it smells good. A busy day with church in the morning and watching a granddaughter's ringette game this afternoon. We are off shortly to dinner with number two daughter. Sunshine all day and pleasant temperature. The temperature at 4:45 p.m. is a pleasant 14C (57F) with a westerly breeze.

Now that's my kind of day. It was a nice day for a bit of an excursion with friends. We went upriver about an hours drive to a small town with a side trip to the USA to do a bit of shopping. I hope no one is thinking about setting any fires. A fire required in the wood stove today, as it has been the past few days. The temperature at 1:50 p.m. ia 3C (37F) with a slight easterly breeze. A noreaster headed this way--not supposed to hit this far inland, but things can change.
