The tutorial for the Youtube code generator is now in Post 7 and 8 of The Ark help files. The link to the generator is now in the right column in my links section here.

Please read the tutorial. It's really easy once you know what to and not to do.

Enjoy!

Shep,
I think you are like me.
I like all that fret noise, fingers sliding, and acoustic harmonics. That's why this will always be one of my favorites.

Enjoy.

Now we're talking.
Mention my name next time you see her, would ya. :)))

She's a player, for sure.

You have to spend a ton of money on a classical to get one that plays and sounds any better than an Ovation. IMHO.

Dire Straits apparently agrees with me. The Eagles use the high dollar ones. :)

My 89 Master Classical is by far my favorite blues picker.
They don't make them anymore, but their new one similar to it will set you back around 3Gs.
I got mine from a guy that didn't know what he had for $150.

"Not for sale or trade". :)

Oddds and ends:

Gurus say neat little system to begin heading towards Lake M from the western plains. Back side finally drops white stuff on the Windy City and aims at KOG. So Halo has snow, KOG looks to maybe get some and RTL continues to look skyward and sees raindrops but is secretly longing for a dusting to hide the white worms.

So a little ditty to accompany 50 KT winds off the lake, if the band leader sounds and looks a little like der bingle, well they are brothers, the drummer is a look-a-like for WD and towards the end there is an unusual acoustic bass sound.

Did the temp on the Gulf cross into < 40 F territory. Maybe the surfers need more clothes.

You ought to get that checked out by your doctor!

Quoting RobDaHood:
Good (late) morning guys!
Been having some problems with compressed nerves the last few days. Haven't been sleeping well. Think I've been spending too much time at this desk, so gonna stay away from it for most of the day.

Beautiful day outside so I'm gonna do some stuff outdoors and try to get the joints loosened up.

Have a really great day!
Will check in later.

I was just talking stats and policy...not personal stuff.
(I'm not upset...don't worry...I can handle the Canadian...with a little help from Shep.) :o)

Actually, it's a free country for the most part, so everyone has the right to an opinion...actually, the only thing that's free anymore is an opinion.

I'm a lot better now. Yeah, I could go to the doc again and after a few thousand dollars they'd tell me I'm getting arthritis, I have an old fractured vertebrae that acts up when the pressure drops, and I'm just generally wearing out. LOL

The magic of modern medical technology - 2 ADR in my cervical spine & I feel bionic! Great! No neck pain unless I really over do it... still some nerves acting out, but the good doctor had to drill out space to give them freedom and he said it could take up to a year for them to settle down & possibly never completely. But my neck is full of titanium and turns with out pain, so I am happy!

Hope you feel better.

Tell Angie hi!

Merry Christmas!

800mg Motrin 3xday for 2 weeks....and no more or you'll feel your kidneys burning.

Men my age have to be careful with Ibuprofen.
Not good for the heart with grandpas.

Pain pills are useless for what ails ya.

Reading back a ways I see Arthur Itis has made your acquaintance. A more irascible old fart you'll never meet -- gets grumpy and acts up for the dangedest reason sometimes. Come to think of it, he'll act up for no reason at all if you ignore him.

Quoting RobDaHood from my blog:
Bought Angie a feeder today for the little guys.
Getting ready to hang it.

I hope the little guys come to entertain you. Be patient, though. When I first put up a thistle sock, I had no takers for a couple of weeks. Then, one day when a bird was waiting in line for the sunflower seeds, he stopped to rest on the sock. And discovered food. Duh! The term "bird brain" does have a basis in reality.

Beauty and guitars are in the eye or ear of the beholder or Segovia could have coaxed a song from a cardboard box, a broom stick and bailing wire and a McPherson in my hands is a joke. I'd love a 5 in MaP. Got to play one once 3 years ago. Hint if you fells are feeling really stupid. Rather generous.

We love you too sweetness! M'lady send hugs! Seasons Greetings from the both of us!

Yes, Shep. Pain pills are worthless. 'Specially since they preclude the appropriate application of rum. Some days I'd like to have a medic following me around with an offer of a morphine injection though!

Thanks for the offer of the loan of the club. I know how special it is to you. All okay though. Just need to stop listening to so much head bangin stuff!

Thanks Briar!
Hung the feeder from the big maple by the deck where we see lots of them every morning. Maybe they'll get a clue?

Goofy,
Yeah, music finds a way...even with a washpan and bailing wire.

Hoping to get a new blog up tomorrow seeing as how the count is getting pretty high. M'lady feasting on shrimp scampi at the moment. She's smiling. Guess I done good.

The prior track and this one...remember calling the bass player that I was playing weekends with at the time and who is still a really close friend and telling him...man, these two songs that I just heard on a late night radio show for new artists are perfect for you. They were. Although, if I'd seen how goofy these guys look I might have reconsidered...

His beard is actually slightly longer than 'Snakes!

Slow down, you crazy child.
Take the phone off the hook and disappear for a while.
It's all right you can afford to lose a day or two.

Nite folks!

Wow, Stephen Tyler was having a bad hair day!
Had long hair once back in the 70's, had it permed.
No, I won't download a photo, some mistakes should not be seen. :)

OK, Christmas Cookie dough is in the fridge, will start
making them tomorrow afternoon. Have to bake another
cake for another party for tomorrow night first.
Will have to figure out a way to get you and Angie,
and Shep and Swampy some of those Austrian Nut Cookies
one of these years. They don't travel well in the mail.
You would have to eat them with a spoon when they got there. :(

Time to go horizontal, hope you are feeling better!
