Less than three weeks ago we returned home from our trip across America. Now, in just four more days we leave for another trip; this time South of America. This is going to be an epic trip for us. Mr. PSP and our son that is still living with us, and I are going.
This weekend we are leaving for a three + week trip to many points South. It is rooted in the fact that our son is still in Nicaragua. We will fly down to see h...

Wow, it has been quite awhile since I have been by here! But, I am back home (have been for almost a week) and lots has happened. We made our trek across the country! We drove just under 3,000 miles from Seattle to Maryland. It went fine and was quite enjoyable. It took us six days to reach Maryland. We stopped at a few places but mostly just traveled onward. Yesterday dropped to 82 (only because the sun broke out for awhile in the afternoon, the rest of the day was cooler than that and cloudy) and then that rai...

A HOT day is forecast here for us today. It could end up in the middle 90’s. It is starting out on track for that forecast. The low this morning has only been 61 – I think without checking that last night was maybe the warmest of the year. The sunrise is through a filter of haze (smoke?) that is making the early sun a blood red color, which also can portend the “flames” of a hot day ahead.
Another busy weekend comple...

Happy Summer Solstice! Ahhh, the first day of summer, and the longest day of the year too! There are sure a lot of months when we wish for this day. It was a nice one for us – sunny under a partially filtered sky and a high of 76. Unfortunately, other than to water my garden, I wasn’t out in it very much.
An update on my daughter’s knee: it has been diagnosed as a dislocated knee cap. No surgery for now, but a few weeks...
