Patiently waiting to see where Isaac is going to go, with the bulls eye currently right on us. I'll be boarding up my house Tuesday morning. I have everything else, food, gas, generator and water ready to ride it out and if I can keep my internet up, keep my weather station, KLAHARAH1 in Harahan, La, data going as much as possible! It'll be 7 years to the day since Katrina, I stayed and had the experience / ride of a lifetime for her, we'll see what Isaac brings!

This morning all of a sudden my temperature reading dropped 5 degrees and I had no wind data. I tried everything I could think of and decided I needed to call Davis support. They said to change my station ID to a different one that there was probably another station somewhere interfering. Turns out he was right. After I changed the station ID on my ISS station outside my console continued to receive only temperature data. So I switched the station ID on my cons...

All of January has been very mild here, some trees actually started to sprout. Finally it is starting to feel like winter again with some lows in the 30's. I haven't had my heater on in my house since well before Christmas. It seems as though we will be lucky if we get into the 20's even once this winter. (I like cold weather!) Anyway, I just started using "Rapid Fire" a couple of days ago and it is awesome! If there is an interface for your weather station (i...
