hail breaking loose

Not an hour ago the sky was so clear I almost set up the telescope in the front yard. Itl was bejeweled with sparkling twinkly stars. Now I have hail. I can hear it hitting the garage door like gravel spraying off a road on a car. The wind is howling through every crack it can find. Im just hoping the trees aren't as skittish as I am. Awoke this morning to find the flurries of gnats and flies blown away with the final days of warmth for the year. I will have to work hard just to break a sweat between now and easter. The tree trimmers are swamped as we all brace ourselves for the falling limbs and trees shaken down like tiny sticks by the howling wind. Its breathing down my neck- I see the lightning- hear the thunder start to roar and have already been caught in a few stray showers between wharton and Needville.
