Nov 2012 Forecast

Forecast for Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
Issued Nov 5th 2012

My forecast for October did go go so well, mainly due to an unexpectedly strong -AO that pulled down cold air earlier and more west than I expected.

While the AO is now moving positive It can easily change to negative again.

Forecast:

Nov 1-10:
Near normal Manitoba. Slightly cooler elsewhere. Freezing rain likely in all areas.

Nov 10-20:
Cold and dry in Alberta, Cold and snowy in Sask, Near normal and wet in Manitoba

20-30:
Very cold in all areas, nearing -30C. Blizzard conditions likely.
