Conducted fall inspection of the weather station this morning. During the inspection we look for debree obstructing the weather station, loose bolts, and any sign of malfunction. Every thing checked out to be visually sound.

I have been in contact with weather underground over the past several weeks concerning repeated removal of our station feed. After evaluating the data and looking at our station my conclusion is we are measuring heat island effect due to our location inside Abilene. This is something we cannot change or correct. Hello Tim,The station has been failing quality control checks that compare its temperature with surrounding areas, and it has exceeded an allowed variance.
