So, I took a half hour out from my leisure activities to irrigate all of the crops! I had done a fertilizing application in the morning and the irrigation worked it into the soil. The plants seem to be happy now that the Sun has gone down and growth resumes after a sunny day of photosynthesis!

We did not see much of the eclipse here as only 10% of the Sun was in shadow. Hardly any difference in the actual brightness of an otherwise bright day.

The trades are diminishing somewhat but it is still a bit more breezy than usual. It is supposed to diminish to nothing tomorrow with the possibility of some rain showers in the offing. It would appear, from the upwind area satellite images that we will indeed see an uptick in precip.
