Acu-Rite Bridge

By: KN5G , 2:06 PM GMT on November 13, 2013

I recently purchased an Acu-Rite Bridge that allows the data from my 5-in-1 weather sensor to be uploaded to the Weather Underground Website.
It took a little tinkering to get it all working correctly but if you are interested in displaying your local weather data on the Internet this is an inexpensive way of doing so.

My PWS stopped reporting on 3/9.

How do I get it back on line?

I am also seeing a difference in barometric pressure on the acurite display versus what's being sent to wunderground.

Don't know for sure but looks like you might be able to access the info you need at the bottom of this page under "Our Community."

If that doesn't answer your questions, you might want to click this link to the PWS met (Personal Weather Station Meteorologist) blog and ask your question by leaving a comment there and by clicking the link on that PWS met blog that says "Contact This Author" which will take you to the private messaging system (wu mail) at wunderground where you can write a direct message to the wu admin person who interfaces with PWS owners.

Have fun!

Still seeing some irregularities with the barometric pressure and humidity readings from the weather sensor. May need to change out the batteries and see if there is insect residue inside the sensor body that could be affecting the readings.
