Just when the flowers were starting to need some water from the past rains, we get a nice little shower this morning. Maybe I will get some flowers blooming this year with all the help from God. He/she knows that I do not have a green thumb.

From a soggy week we now have some sunshine. This should be good for the flowers. I am not sure how long the sun will stay out today as they are calling for clouds and showers.In checking the rain gauge it would appear that this year is much dryer than last year so far. You can not tell that from the rivers and they are out of their banks.

With the wind the golf game was not very good yesterday. Got home and found all the flowers I had planted really needed water from the wind drying them out.Rain is in the forecast but I don't know if it will materialize. It has been in there for a while and no action.

Planted some more flowers today. The soil is still really wet. I am not sure that I should water any and just let it take the moisture out of the soil. What a day to plant the flowers! Only problem, I was too tired to shoot some golf balls.
