Good Monday morning!Weather RecapYesterday was a mostly cloudy day with scattered light snow showers and high temperatures near normal in the mid- to upper 20s.http://www.weather.gov/climate/index.phpForecast SynopsisIn continuing with the 2009-2010 theme of naming significant winter storms after Roman gods, I needed one that starts with the letter C, so let's go with the timely Greek god of love, Cupid! Winter Storm Cupid is set to bring his love to Wisconsin toni...

Good Thursday morning!Weather RecapYesterday was a pretty nice early February day with lots of sunshine and temps in the mid- 20s. That's right about normal for this time of the year. I'm also liking that it's staying light a little longer in the late afternoon.http://www.weather.gov/climate/index.phpForecast SynopsisHigh pressure centered off to our east is going to keep us mostly dry for just a few more hours. Moisture shooting northward from a low pressure system...

Good Monday morning!Weather RecapJanuary ended rather quietly, with scattered clouds and temperatures in the lower 20s, just a few degrees below normal. Instead of "January" I thought about saying "the first month of the new decade" but some would argue that the decade technically goes from 2001-2010, just like how the last millennium didn't really end until the first day of 2001 since there was no year zero. :)http://www.weather.gov/climate/index.phpForecast Synop...

Good Thursday morning!Weather RecapThe cold air is here. Highs yesterday were a little below-normal, in the mid- to upper teens in east-central Wisconsin and in the lower 20s south. We did have some sunshine and only a brief moment of flurries yesterday evening, so that was good, but things are going to get even colder over the next two days. I noticed that my previous weather update blog, written early Monday morning, didn't feed into my Facebook profile until Tue...

Good Monday morning!Weather RecapI hope you all enjoyed a sneak preview of early Spring with highs temperatures in the upper 30s this weekend! The rain showers that moved through helped to melt some of our snow depth, too, but may have created some icy patches on the roads this morning with temperatures slightly below freezing again. http://www.weather.gov/climate/index.phpForecast SynopsisToday is the last day of our early Spring preview. An occluded frontal bound...
