MONDAY, MARCH 20/17

By: GRANDMANAN , 10:48 AM GMT on March 20, 2017

The forecast weather yesterday, did not materialize, had the preliminary with strong NE wind, looking like it was going to be nasty, by sunset red sky and wind had died down. This morning, still a good NE 25-35KPH, overcast, temp -2C and temp it supposed to well into the single digits on the plus side, similar conditions for most of the week, but subject to change as weather systems are acting a bit erratically.

Have opened an account the THE ARK, still looking around to see how things work, with my limited knowledge it will take me a while to make it work, indication the format is similar to the WU.

Good morning Rob, Welcome to spring, I'm sure some one somewhere is enjoying it. Here it is cloudy and wet 3°C headed for 8°C with a gentle South wind. Tomorrow the sun is suppose to shine with a high of 11°C so might try to get front lawn power raked.

I have also joined The Ark and I like you are trying to figure it out.

Mornin CHUNKS, your taking issue with my interpretation of the weather was well founded, the system moved a bit out of our way, Novie took a bad one with power outage and all that goes with it. We have wind, but the sun has take over and the temp is at the zero mark in mid-morning so it will be a bit better on the temp by noon.

Have taken SANDI & WEATHER recommendation have an an account with the ARK, no will have to get familiar with the site, my old mind will take a bit of looking around to see how things work so by the time WU signs off should be ready to go.

Any sign of flooding in your part of the world, lots of run off locally, but flooding never has been a concern, snow cover going away, but would say the thick bush has a lot of snow to get rid off, but with these temps it will make a hole in it very quick.

Still no brant in the harbour, and still no flocks of Canada Geese a few around, but only a few at one time. I don't mind that when they do show up they like to feed on the lawn between the house and the shore. A mess is a polite way of saying what they leave beyond, and have a couple of horse next door so trying to get them airborne with firecrackers not a good plan.

Have a good one.

Mornin MYEYE, thanks for dropping by, the Blog has been a routine I got into over the years and for some reason have been loyal in getting entries almost everyday.

I have got a account with THE ARK, now if I can get as comfortable with it as I have with WU, and try to be loyal.

Have a good one.

Hi GrandManan, Good to hear you will be on the Ark. I have not had time to figure it out as yet. We will all learn together and Rob is a great helper so I am sure it will be good. I had a very busy time with my grands while out at my daughter's and not much chance to look around.

A beautiful day on tap here with a beautiful sunshine coming through my window this am. An icy 28 F when I awakened this am. Perhaps this will be our last really low temp night and early morn for awhile.

Hope your weather is on the way to a milder look. Have a good day and enjoy your time with Gem and Addie. Glad Rob got in the get the favor of his newest niece. Family times are always so precious no matter the age. I can remember when a trip back home was like bath in love. I would return so rejuvenated with love and happiness. I surely miss going back home even now.

Take care and have a beautiful wonderful day.
