I grew up in Eastern NC, Jacksonville, to be exact where I experienced Diana in 1984, Kate in 1985, Charley 1986, Arlene 1987, Allison 1995, Arthur 1996, Bertha 1996, Fran 1996, Josephine 1996, Bonnie 1998, Earl 1998, Dennis 1999.I move to Greenville, NC for college to get some additional Hurricane experience with Floyd 1999 where it took me 9 hours to get home, which normally takes just under 2 hours, after my Dorm became an island thanks to the Dennis/Floyd rains....
