	<description><![CDATA[June's very active weather continued for the seventh day in a row on Sunday, with severe thunderstorms developing in the Denver metro area just after 2 PM. Funnel clouds were sighted over downtown Denver, although there were no tornado touchdowns. Large hail up to golf ball size fell in Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Arvada and Westminster. At our house in Thornton, only small hail fell. 	<description><![CDATA[Today will begin a cooling trend for the Denver area with partly cloudy skies and highs in the 60s. There is a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm late.Tomorrow will be cloudy and cooler still, with highs in the upper 50s. There is a better chance of upslope conditions and steady rain tomorrow night into early Sunday morning. It will be chilly with lows dropping into the mid to upper 30s. 	<description><![CDATA[SPRING STORM DUMPS OVER 4 FEET OF SNOW IN FOOTHILLS!!The sun is shining today after what appears to be the wettest storm system along the Front Range since the epic March 2003 snowstorm. Some locations in the foothills had 4 to almost 5 feet of snow with over 5 inches of water content! In lower elevations, Denver International Airport received a storm total of 2.40", mostly in the form of rain. At our house in Thornton, we had a storm total of 2.89". 	<description><![CDATA[After a cold day Sunday, with highs in the 30s around Denver, temperatures have fallen into the teens over much of the Denver area this morning. In Thornton, it is currently 17 degrees at 6 AM and Denver International Airport has had a low of 18. In downtown Denver, the low has been 24. It will be sunny today, but slow to warm up. Highs will reach the upper 40s this afternoon. Tomorrow will be much more like spring with highs in the low to mid 60s. 	<description><![CDATA[AFTER BLIZZARD CONDITIONS THURSDAY, LIGHT SNOW CONTINUES EARLY THIS MORNINGThe snow began around 5:00 to 6:00 Thursday morning and was very heavy most of the morning with snowfall rates as high as 2 to 3" per hour. Strong winds of 30-40 mph produced blizzard conditions with near zero visibility in the Denver metro around noon.
