	<description><![CDATA[July 2012 has come to an end and it turned out to be warmer than average for many parts of Newfoundland. Many people in the province remember, but try to forget, how awful the summer of 2011 was, with cool temperatures and an abundance of rainfall. 2012 has been a complete 180 from last year with one of the warmest and driest July's on record. 	<description><![CDATA[The 194th running of the Royal St. John's Regatta is set to take place on Wednesday (August 1). As locals know, the decision to hold the event, and holiday, is dependent on the weather.
