	<title><![CDATA[ FIRES IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA]]></title>

	<description><![CDATA[Lightning strikes from a recent "dry" storm has ignited several hundred fires throughout Northern and Central California.  I have found little information about them and wish for any and all photos, comments or information about them.  I live in Sonoma County where the visibility from Charles Schultz Airport is reduced from 4 miles to little over 1 mile.  Smoke and haze from the fires has created worse smog than that of Los Angeles on a smoggy day. 	<description><![CDATA[The Tour of California Stage 1 in Santa Rosa brought out the crowds in near perfect weather on President's Day.  As the racers in the tour approached Santa Rosa the crowd was treated to an hour-long race by women.
