... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 11 am this morning
to 5 am MST Tuesday...

* what... heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations 6 to 9
inches around Casper with up to 15 inches on Casper Mountain.
Jeffrey City will likely see 6 inches. The rest of Natrona and
southeast Fremont County will likely see 4 to 6 inches of snow.
Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* Where... southeast Fremont County, and Natrona County including
Casper Mountain.

* When... from 11 am Monday to 5 am MST Tuesday.

* Additional details... travel is expected to become increasingly
difficult this afternoon into the evening hours especially in
rural areas. Whiteout conditions are possible from a combination
of significant snow and blowing snow. Conditions are not
expected to improve until after midnight tonight.

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
