... Wind Advisory in effect from 2 am Thursday to 3 am MST
The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 2 am Thursday to 3 am MST
* Affected area... the Cache Valley and Wasatch front.
* Winds... easterly wind gusts around 45 mph, especially across
Davis County and near canyons.
* Timing... developing after midnight, peaking tomorrow into
tomorrow evening before diminishing later Thursday night.
* Impacts... gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. In
additional the gusty winds will cause blowing and drifting snow
which can make roadways quite slick as well as locally reduce
A Wind Advisory means that sustained wind speeds of at least 31
mph or gusts of 45 mph are expected. Motorists in the advisory
area should be prepared for sudden gusty cross winds which can
make driving difficult.
