Special Statement
Issued: 11:40 AM EDT Mar. 20, 2018 – National Weather Service

A wintry mixture of snow and sleet will move through the area this
afternoon. Though accumulations are expected to be minor for the
next few hours, there is at least some potential for a quick
burst of heavier sleet and snow that may produce significantly
reduced visibility and some accumulations on Road surfaces.

In addition, there is some potential for light freezing rain
later this afternoon and this evening in portions of southern New
Jersey, which may produce a light glaze, especially on elevated
surfaces and overpasses.

Motorists are urged to use caution traveling this afternoon.
