evening...

* impacts: very low humidities and strong gusty winds will create
erratic fire behavior and new fire starts.

* Affected area:
in north central Montana fire zones... 112... 113... 114... 115
                                        117.
In southwest Montana fire zones... 116... 118.

* Counties affected:
in central Montana, Cascade, Fergus, Judith Basin
                       Lewis And Clark, Meagher.
In north central Montana, Blaine, Chouteau, Glacier, hill
                             Liberty, Pondera, Powell, Teton,
Toole.
In south central Montana, Golden Valley, park, Phillips
                             Sweet Grass, Wheatland.
In southwest Montana, Broadwater, Gallatin, Jefferson.

* Wind: west 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* Afternoon humidity: 10 to 15 percent.

* Timing: humidity values start out rather low this morning, then
drop further through early afternoon. Gusty west winds strengthen
by mid-day, resulting in critical fire weather conditions
through the afternoon and early evening hours.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are
either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong
winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute
to extreme fire behavior.

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in these
areas of this red flag warning.
