The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a freezing fog
advisory, which is in effect until 9 am CST this morning.
* Visibility/temperature... less than 1/4 mile visibilities with
temperatures in the upper 20s.
* Timing... till 9 a.M.
* Impacts... slick roads are possible, especially on bridges and
overpasses. Visibility will change quickly as fog is dense in
spots, so drive with caution.
A freezing fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Also,
be alert for frost on bridge decks causing slippery roads.

... Patchy light freezing fog possible till mid morning...
Patchy areas of freezing fog have developed across the mid-south,
some areas near lakes and rivers having some denser fog. These
localized areas are seeing fog that is reducing visibility to
less than one mile.
Use caution if traveling as visibility can change quickly in
areas especially those areas near lakes, rivers and streams. With
the light winds and temperatures below freezing, areas with dense
fog may also make Road slick from a thin coat of ice. Use caution
when driving over bridges.
