... Near-critical fire weather conditions for the rest of today...

Very dry air over the Northland combined with strong west winds
have created near-critical fire weather conditions today. Wind
speeds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph and humidity values
of 15 to 25 percent will enhance the potential for rapid fire
spread and growth around the Brainerd lakes and for the tip of The
Arrowhead for the rest of this afternoon and early evening.

Avoid burning outdoors today and discard burning items, including
cigarettes, in a safe and fire resistant container.
