... An area of strong thunderstorms will affect Somerset...
southwestern Worcester and northern Accomack counties...

At 420 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered near Tylerton, or
19 miles northeast of fair port, moving east at 20 mph.

Nickel size hail is possible with these storms.

Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Pocomoke City, Lawsonia, Westover, West Pocomoke, Marion Station,
Tylerton, Bloxom, Saxis, Mappsville, Cokesbury, Kingston,
Temperanceville, Nelsonia, Shelltown, Sanford, Modest Town, Oak Hall,
Guilford, Beaver Dam and Byrdtown.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike more than 10 miles away from a thunderstorm.
Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional
information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
