The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a coastal
flood advisory, which is in effect from 7 PM this evening to 1 am
CDT Friday.

* Coastal flooding... 1 to 3 feet above ground level.

* Timing... through this evening

* impacts... minor flooding of Burns Point... Cypremort Point...
Cameron... Intracoastal City... . Deatonville and low lying
areas including Sabine Pass... Hackberry and Lake Charles.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal Flood Warning means that flooding is occurring or
imminent. Coastal residents in the warned area should be alert
for rising water, and take appropriate action to protect life and
property.

A coastal flood advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
