... Wind Advisory in effect from 10 am Saturday to 3 am EST

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 10 am Saturday to 3 am EST

* Locations... portions of north Georgia, along and north of a Rome
to Canton to Cleveland line.

* Winds... initially southwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35
mph, then shifting Saturday evening out of the northwest at 20
to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Locally higher gusts
possible in the higher elevations.

* Timing... 10 am Saturday until 3 am Sunday.

* Impacts... strong winds will bring down large tree limbs and
some weaker trees. Unsecured outdoor items may be blown around.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained wind speeds of at least
20 mph... or gusts to 35 mph or stronger are expected. Winds this
strong can make driving difficult... especially for high profile
vehicles. Use extra caution.
