... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect from Saturday evening
through Tuesday evening...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Alabama, northwest Florida, and southeast
Mississippi, including the following areas, in Alabama,
Baldwin central, Baldwin coastal, Baldwin inland, Escambia,
Mobile central, Mobile coastal, and Mobile inland. In
northwest Florida, Escambia coastal, Escambia inland, Okaloosa
coastal, Okaloosa inland, Santa Rosa coastal, and Santa Rosa
inland. In southeast Mississippi, George and stone.

* From Saturday evening through Tuesday evening

* a low pressure system is expected to advance northward across
the Gulf and move into the north central Gulf Coast area,
after which this system will move slowly. This system will
bring excessive rainfall to the watch area beginning Saturday
evening and continuing through early Tuesday evening. Rainfall
amounts of 6 to 12 inches are possible in the watch area which
will likely result in flash flooding.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
