... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 8 am MST
Tuesday...

* what... snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations
of 2 to 4 inches, with localized amounts up to 10 inches, are
expected.

* Where... western Mosquito Range and East Lake County above 11000
feet, western Chaffee County between 9000 and 11000 feet,
Saguache County east of Continental Divide below 10000 feet and
La Garita Mountains above 10000 feet.

* When... until 8 am MST Tuesday.

* Additional details... plan on slippery Road conditions. In
addition, areas of poor visibility are likely. Winds gusting as
high as 55 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.
The cold wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause
frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means periods
of snow and blowing snow will cause primarily travel
difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited
