... Dust Storm Warning remains in effect from 11 am this morning
to 8 PM MST this evening...
... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 11 am this morning to
8 PM MST this evening...

* timing... strong southwest winds will develop this morning and
strengthen through the afternoon hours. Winds will begin to
decrease around sunset tonight.

* Winds... southwest 25 to 35 mph, with gusts to 55 mph.

* Visibility... expect visibilities to be reduced at times to less
than one quarter mile in areas of blowing dust.

* Impacts... cross winds could cause difficult travel on area
roadways. Visibilities can quickly drop to less than one
quarter mile in blowing dust. Avoid travel if at all possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dust Storm Warning means visibilities are less than one quarter
mile due to blowing dust. Travel could become extremely
dangerous. Persons with respiratory problems should make
preparations to stay indoors until the storm passes.

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph... or
gusts from 40 to 57 mph... are expected. Winds this strong can
make driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles.
