The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of central Arkansas, eastern Arkansas, southeast
Arkansas, and southwest Arkansas, including the following
areas, in central Arkansas, Garland, Grant, Lonoke, prairie,
Pulaski, and Saline. In eastern Arkansas, Monroe and Woodruff.
In southeast Arkansas, Arkansas, Bradley, Cleveland, Desha,
Drew, Jefferson, and Lincoln. In southwest Arkansas, Calhoun,
Clark, Dallas, Hot Spring, and Ouachita.

* Through Saturday afternoon

* several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected
through Saturday. The rain will be heavy at times. Amounts of
one to two inches are expected with localized heavier amounts
exceeding three inches possible.

* With already saturated ground, it will not take much rain to
cause flash flooding issues.

Precautionary/preparedness actions... a Flash Flood Watch means
that conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding. Flash
flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
