The Flood Warning continues for
the White River at Georgetown.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 9:00 am Friday the stage was 23.1 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall to a stage of 22.9 feet
by tomorrow morning.
* Impacts at 23.0 feet... minor street flooding in Georgetown including
Heath Scott drive and Riverside street near the boat ramp.

the White River at Augusta.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 9:00 am Friday the stage was 32.4 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will fall to near 32.1 feet by Monday afternoon.
* Impacts at 32.0 feet... thousands of acres of cropland and farm roads
are flooded in white and Woodruff counties. Water is isolating
homes and camps along the river in white and Woodruff counties.

Lake Wind Advisory
Issued: 10:11 AM CDT May. 26, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Lake Wind Advisory in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening...

The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a lake
Wind Advisory, which is in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* Event... strong south winds will increase today across parts of
northeast, central, and south Arkansas.

* Areas affected... the advisory will affect areas east of a line
from Viola... to Casa... to Amity.

* Timing... south winds will remain strong and gusty through this
aftenroon.

* Winds... south winds around 20 mph will gust to 35 mph at times.

* Impacts... winds are expected to be strong enough to cause
problems for boaters on area lakes and rivers. Small boats will
be the most significantly impacted.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
