... Flood Warning extended until Wednesday morning... the Flood Warning
continues for
the Tombigbee river at bevill lock and dam.
* From Sunday morning to Wednesday morning... or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 12:00 PM Saturday the stage was 112.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 122.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by tomorrow late morning and
continue to rise to near 125.4 feet by early Monday afternoon. The
river will fall below flood stage by Tuesday evening.

Wind Advisory

... Wind Advisory now in effect until noon CST Sunday...

* timing... of the strongest winds will be through Sunday morning.

* Winds... sustained 20 to 25 mph, with gusts possibly exceeding
40 mph.

* Impacts... gusty winds can bring down tree branches and
vulnerable or weakened trees. Travel may be difficult at times
for those in high profile vehicles.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts of 35 mph are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for
high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

... Storm survey plan of the day for Sunday January 20th...

.Overview...

A line of storms on Saturday, January 19th produced several areas
of damage, the result of probable tornadoes based on velocity
Couplets and associated tornado debris signatures.

Survey summary:

Significant damage was reported in Wetumpka. Additional damage
locations include points in Dallas, Autauga, Coosa and other
locations in Elmore County. Due to the number of potential tracks and
daylight hours, it may take more than one day to complete all
surveys.

At this time, storm surveys are being planned for the following
areas on sunday:

Team one: primary targets: Elmore County.

Team two: primary targets: Dallas, Autauga, and Coosa counties.

As we continue to review radar data and gather damage reports,
additional surveys may become necessary.

A major contribution to the Success of our severe weather warning
program is the receipt of storm reports from all our customers and
partners. If you witnessed or are aware of any storm damage due to
high winds or tornadoes, please contact your local emergency
