... Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 6 PM akdt Thursday...

* what... snow and blowing snow, with freezing rain possible. Plan
on difficult travel conditions. Total snow accumulations of 3
to 5 inches are expected. Ice accumulation will be a trace.
Visibility will be one half mile or less at times.

* Where... southern Seward Peninsula coast.

* When... 4 PM today to 6 PM Thursday. Snow and blowing snow is now
occuring and will continue through Thursday. Freezing rain is
possible tonight.

* Additional details... winds gusting 30 mph will cause areas of
blowing and drifting snow with low visibility.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means periods
of snow and blowing snow will cause travel difficulties.
